WOW...after a 3 month hiatus from posting here on LJ, I have decided to once again give it a try. These last few months have been very hectic and draining for me to say the least. Flying 6 trips a month to Europe as a flight attendant is now beginning to take its toll on my body and I eagerly await my return to domestic flying in January. It will be so nice to return to places like San Francisco, Seattle and Boston. Hear I come boys!
Ive have also been stressed about the state of my employer. The airline i work for is in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection and we have just taken a temporary 21% paycut while the company and the unions battle for a new contract. My wallet is now beginning to feel the crunch(why during XMAS time?), but Im determined not to let that get me down.
Im really excited about my move in 2 weeks. I finally got a new place in downtown Philadelphia. Its in a new building and everything inside is newly furnished. For those of you who know Philly its on Washington Square, 5 blocks from historic Olde City and 5 blocks from the gayborhood. Cant beat the great location. Im really looking forward to all the walking ill be "forced" to do while living in the city. Shed those pounds away. Being closer to all my friends is the motive for the move. Im so blessed to have a great group of buds here in Philly. You guys are the best!
